Elite Division (Men’s and Women’s)

The Elite Division is for people with a Top 100 ranking in their respective CFG region or other equivilent qualifications. They will compete in events Friday afternoon and all day Saturday. The events and programming will be consistent with CFG & Regional Competition and there is no scaling. We will place top 3 in Mens and Womens.

Open Division (Men’s and Women’s)

The Open Division is basically for everyone else. The events and programming will still be very challenging for the good, average and beginning athlete but scaling will be an option ( just not for placement points). The Open Division athletes will compete on Saturday, August 17th only.

Masters Division?

The past 2 years we have had a division for 40+ but participants were hard to get so we are going to mix this group into the open and elite division as appropriate. We will still be able to score it seperately but the programming will be the same. If after the registration process closes things are different we may reconsider but do not send an email that says “if you have a masters division I’ll do it” – just sign up.

Team competition?

No and yes. No, not like it is done in most team competitions meaning no team events. We will however be using an overall team scoring system similair to track and field or a wrestling tournament to determine team winners I’m not going to explain it all now but here are the basics: The Open Division Team Scoring is for teams ( 4 Men & 4 Women) comprised of athletes that work out together in the same gym be it a garage, affiliate, club, prison yard etc. NO fantasy or super teams in the Open Division. The Elite Division team scoring is a different story. You can join up how ever you want and compete under what ever name or sponsor you choose again 4 men and 4 women/team.

Spectators

There is no fee for any spectator, and all are welcome. While spectators are not allowed on the competition grounds, it is designed to be spectator friendly. There will be a food and beverage garden, RV parking and tailgating and more activities to be announced as they develop. There will be a party after Saturday Night, it will be a good one. There are lots of great hotels and restaurants in the area.
